The west side concourse and east side concourse are packed with fans, while the surrounding ground buzzes with tailgating and pre-game excitement. The parking options make it easy for fans to get in and out, and the passionate crowd can be deafening.

The outdoor arena has hosted legendary moments, including victories over top-ranked teams, large-scale concerts with big-name artists, and record-breaking single-game attendance numbers. The latter was set on September 5, 2015, when the Cyclones defeated the University of Northern Iowa 31-7. The ISU athletic director has emphasized ongoing efforts to enhance the design further, and the Iowa Board has approved new projects to improve the location.

As for the sound and décor, the design reflects the rich history and spirit of Iowa State University – from sporting paraphernalia to handmade pieces. Patrons can also enjoy the custom-built sound system installed in 2011, ensuring an immersive experience wherever they’re seated.
